To support these customers, we provide electronic catalogue content that may be loaded into a wide variety of purchasing applications. Working together, the customer and Bramhope determine the data fields contained within this catalogue, the data formats, and the file layout. Bramhope has the ability to meet many different catalogue specifications along with many different formats for deployment such as Microsoft Excel, tab delimited.

A couple of key limitations about electronic catalogue files are important to note. First, a content file is a shopping aid, not a contractual obligation to pricing or availability. Pricing terms and conditions are documented in a customer’s contractual agreement, not in the content file.

An electronic catalogue file is static, updated periodically, rather than the dynamic catalogue on shop.bramhope.co.za that is updated with new products on a daily basis. Bramhope customers who select the electronic catalogue file receive updated content files three times a year. However, product additions and discontinuations along with pricing fluctuations will occur in between the refresh periods.

As orders flow into Bramhope’s fulfilment system, they are processed within seconds. A customer may choose to receive order acknowledgements to confirm receipt of orders. When requested, Bramhope can transmit electronic invoices based on predetermined data fields.
